Job Description

In this Junior Accountant role youll play a vital role in supporting the Head of Accounting with chargeable Australian accounting and tax tasks. Your responsibilities will include completing accounting and taxation compliance work as well as preparing Financial Statements and Tax Returns for various entities.

Your Key Duties in Accounting Excellence

• Support the Head of Accounting with chargeable Australian accounting and taxrelated tasks.
  
• Complete accounting and taxation compliance work.
  
• Prepare Financial Statements and Tax Returns for Individuals Trusts Companies and SelfManaged Super Funds.
  
• Prepare Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements.
  

Requirements

Qualifications That Speak Numbers:

• Experience using XERO and BGL 360
  
• 13 years of AU Accounting and Tax experience
  
• Proficient in Word & Excel
  
• Experience using ASIC Web Site ATO Tax Agents Portal Australian Business Register
  
• Additional qualifications:
  
• Excellent Customer service skills
  
• Excellent written & verbal skills.
  
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  
• High attention to detail
