About the job Project Accounting Manager

The Project Accounting Manager is responsible in approval of payment processing while ensuring budget control, review, and analysis of all financial reporting per project including but not limited to job costing, accounts payable, month-end reports.

ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL REPORTING

Present Financial Statements to the management with meaningful insights and analysis.

Identify accounting related and financial reporting issues and recommend data driven solutions.

PROJECT MONITORING AND REPORTING

Coordinate with project development team actual commitment vs budget reports and actual spending of all projects.

Highlight and coordinate with project development team any project that has material variance between approved funding and actual spending.

Highlight and coordinate with project development team any budget reallocation requirement.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Plan and recommend policies to lessen tax exposure and minimize taxes due.

Handle tax audits and do the necessary reconciliation to address the examiner's assessment.

SYSTEMS PROFICIENCY

Create or update existing policies and procedures related to process improvement.

Comprehend the project accounting modules.

PAYABLE AND PAYMENT

Payment to vendors within SLA based on approved policy and procedures.

Ensuring checks are funded prior payment to vendors.

Evaluate the actual spending versus approved funding for the year and coordinate with Project Development.

Identify payment related issues and recommend data driven solutions.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accountancy

CPA is required

Professional license in Accountancy or any related finance certifications

At least 8 years of related work experience in real estate, hospitality, high-rise and/or township developments
