Real Estate Accountant

Hello, good day! We are looking for a real estate accountant that possesses both thorough attention to detail and analytical ability. Ensuring accurate financial reporting and stringent adherence to industry laws is a vital job that will be assigned to the perfect candidate. As a key member of the asset's financial management team, you will supervise the full accounting operations of our varied real estate portfolio. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis and preparation of financial statements for real estate transactions and property investments.
• Perform regular reconciliations of all bank accounts and ensure accurate maintenance of the general ledger.
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collection activities.
• Collaborate with property management teams to manage tenant leases, rent collections, and operating expenses.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant financial laws and standards, including GAAP and tax regulations specific to real estate.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year experience in accounting, with a focus on real estate or property management accounting.
• Proficiency with real estate accounting software, such as AppFolio, QuickBooks Online, and strong skills in MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data and reports.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
