Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

Zennya, a leading provider of virtual healthcare services, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Work from Home Accountant based in Manila, Philippines. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. This is a full-time position that offers the flexibility of working from the comfort of your own home.

Responsibilities: 1. Maintain and update financial records using accounting software 2. Prepare financial reports and statements on a regular basis 3. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities 4. Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable 5. Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance 6. Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and analysis 7. Support tax preparation and compliance activities 8. Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in accounting 9. Any additional duties as assigned by the management team

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance 3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero) 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 6. Driven and confident personality traits 7. Soft skills in negotiation and teamwork 8. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively 9. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry 10. CPA certification is a plus but not required
