(Urgent Hiring) Job Title: Remote Odoo Bookkeeper (Philippines-Based Virtual Assistant) Location: Remote (Philippines) Job Type: [Full-Time] Department: Finance/Accounting Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Odoo Bookkeeper based in the Philippines to join our team remotely. This role involves managing financial records and system configurations using the Odoo accounting module from a remote location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, proficiency in Odoo software, and the ability to maintain accurate financial data while working independently. Key Responsibilities: Remote System Setup and Configuration: Initiate and remotely configure the Odoo accounting module, including company data, fiscal periods, and chart of accounts. Chart of Accounts Creation: Develop a customized chart of accounts suitable for our business needs and compliant with accounting standards. Financial Record Keeping: Accurately record all financial transactions in a timely and efficient manner. Data Management and Reconciliation: Ensure accuracy in data entry and reconcile bank statements with Odoo entries. Invoice Management: Manage invoice creation, track receivables, and handle payables. Financial Reporting: Prepare essential financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Budget Management: Assist in the creation of budgets and monitor expenses. Payroll Processing: If required, manage payroll operations using Odoo’s system. Tax Preparation and Compliance: Aid in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws. Software Proficiency and Continuous Updates: Stay up-to-date with Odoo software functionalities and updates. Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and management despite the remote setting. Problem-Solving and Process Improvement: Identify and resolve financial management issues, enhancing system efficiency. Continual Learning and Development: Keep abreast of new features in Odoo and changes in financial regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience in bookkeeping or similar role. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Odoo accounting software. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with fluency in English. Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
