Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate US GAAP standards and regulatory requirements as well as the requirements of private equity contributions and debt instruments
• Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, expenses and review organizational budgets and actual expenditures
• Establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation
• Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of our client’s assets, policies, procedures, and workflows

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field
• 10+ years proven accounting experience
• Professional accounting certification, including CPA, CMA, CGA, or CA preferred
• Working knowledge of new accounting pronouncements and regulatory standards (GAAP)
• Knowledge of processing ACH and wire payments
• Minimum of 5 years of Job Costing experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a senior-level accountant or finance manager
• Strong computer skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, QuickBooks (REQUIRED), and other reporting systems (e.g., Zoho Analytics, Reach Reporting, etc. preferred)
