Job Description:

• Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Assist with compliance with local regulation.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights into financial performance, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
• Develop and maintain internal financial controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate and manage financial audits, both internal and external, and ensure timely responses to audit requests and findings.
• Reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies, ensuring that all accounts are accurate and up to date.
• Manage and maintain fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules and asset tracking.
• Assist in tax compliance, including preparing and filing tax returns, reconciling tax accounts, and providing support for tax audits.
• Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial planning.
• Utilize financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to record, process, and analyze financial transactions.
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies in accounting procedures and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to provide financial guidance and support for business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and standards, and assist in updating policies as needed.
• Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• At least 3 years general accounting experience
• Sage Intacct (preferred), or other accounting software
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, strong command of accounting rules and procedures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ability to work independently.
• High level of inquisitiveness and attention to detail
• Analytical skills
• Eagerness to learn and embrace training.
• Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal skills; able to listen effectively to solve problems, anticipate issues and make effective decisions; and perform responsibilities as a team player.

Job type: Full time; night shift; on-site in a BPO setting
