Description

Responsible for handling fundamental and core aspects of financial recordkeeping and may assist the financial control team in financial service delivery by taking on advanced tasks provided by the Finance Lead/Finance Manager. Workday experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Customer invoicing
• Perform various month-end-close tasks, including the preparation of journal entries
• Creation of end-of-month journals as required
• Assist in preparing draft monthly financial statements and other internal reporting
• Collect and record customer payments
• Update and maintain revenue workbook
• Prepare aged receivables on demand by our clients
• Set up supplier payments and record related expenses
• Reconciliations of bank accounts
• Reconciliation of other significant balance sheet accounts (prepaids, fixed assets, accruals etc.)
• Prepare calculation of monthly and quarterly sales commissions
• Maintain confidential records for all employees
• Process disbursement of employee and contractor payroll. Includes necessary accounting, record keeping, and tax compliance
• Prepare working paper for various taxes and regulatory reporting requirement
• Assist in financial audit and other necessary compliance reporting
• Categorize and record ongoing banks and credit cards transactions of the business
• Track and record monthly expense accruals
• Other related functions and ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of Accountancy, Business Administration Major in Management Accounting
• 5+ years of experience in General Accounting
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills
• Workday Finance knowledge
• Reliable, professional, proactive attitude and autonomous problem-solving skill set
• Motivation and ability to learn fast in a dynamic SaaS environment
