Job Description - Accounting Generalist

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Generalist to perform a variety of accounting and financial tasks. Responsible for maintaining financial records and confirming financial compliance through preparation of a company’s reports and statements. Work closely together with the HR team and external bookkeepers. The Accounting Generalist will report to the general manager of the department. Major Tasks:

  • Providing accounting and clerical assistance
  • Typing accurately, preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
  • Provide assistance and support to HR personnel
  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
  • Implementing cost-saving measures and identifying areas for process improvement to optimize financial resources.
  • Overseeing administrative tasks such as managing office supplies, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining records and
documentation, and handling correspondence.
  • Implementing improvements to streamline slack workflows and Quickbooks, increase efficiency, and ensure accuracy in financial operations.
  • Preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitoring compliance with financial policies and procedures along with Third Party providers.
  • Implementing and maintaining internal control procedures to safeguard company assets, ensure accuracy of financial records, and prevent fraud.
  • Providing guidance and training to staff members on financial policies, procedures, and company systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
  • Experience in payroll practices
  • Excellent in communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft/Google Word and Excel
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to read and analyze financial reports
Monthly Salary: Php 20,000 Working Schedule: Monday - Friday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Lunch break: 2-3 PM) On-site work Benefits:
