POSITION: CHIEF OF STAFF (PRINCIPAL EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT)
REPORTING TO THE: Group CEO (Malaysian-Chinese national)
SALARY BUDGET: OPEN
JOB LOCATION: The work location is indefinite as this position requires extensive travel (with the Group CEO) in any part of the Philippines, including Malaysia & possibly other APAC/non-APAC countries
JOB SUMMARY:
- Acts as a strategic advisor to the Group CEO and senior management team
- Represents the Group CEO in meetings, by email, and phone calls with internal and external stakeholders
- Plans and directs all administrative, financial, and operational activities for the Group CEO
- Performs complex and confidential professional-level executive administrative support duties in support to the CEO/senior executive leadership as directed
- Manages the Group CEO calendar and prioritizes their time and schedule
- Drafts letters, contracts, emails, reports, and other correspondence on behalf of the Group CEO
- Supports the Group CEO in meetings by taking notes and assuming responsibility for completion of action items
- Acts as the liaison between the Group CEO/ and other executives, clients, and stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and ensuring involvement or decision-making at the proper time
- Participates with the Group CEO and senior management team in strategic planning, policy development, and decision-making
- Ensures timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the Group CEO
- Researches and recommends new and revised policies and strategies
- Creates and maintains systems and processes to streamline operations
- Establishes standards and procedures for hiring and managing the office staff and personnel for the Group CEO
- Maintains accurate confidential files and data records
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field
- Must have extensive experience as Chief of Staff
- Must be able to perform the duties as stated above
- Must have a valid passport
- Must be willing to do extensive local and overseas travel (50% to 80% of the time with the Group CEO)
- Must have good communication skills
- Must have a 'can do' attitude and willing to take initiative with confidence
- Resilient, ability to manage multiple projects and deliver quality work to deadlines
- Discretion, diplomacy and excellent judgment; high degree of integrity when dealing with confidential and sensitive information
- Meticulous attention to detail
