Cloud (AZURE) Administrator As a member of the Infrastructure Shared Services Center, the Cloud (AZURE) Admin will represent his/her department towards the Business Units and project teams and will assure a determining role in the management, support, maintenance, implementation, administration, and lifecycle management of GTS client Azure environment. This position is responsible for the whole GTS client Azure Environment. He/She will provide expert technical assistance to team members related to Incident/Request/Problem. This role will be responsible for defining, deploying, and maintaining the company's architecture and its virtual component. The mandate will be to maintain SLAs towards the internal Customers. Hours: Standard MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build, deploy, and support/maintain Networking, Databases, Software, and Servers within the Azure environment (IaaS, SaaS).
• Interact directly with OS support and/or vendors for troubleshooting and enhancements.
• Engage with and support regional clients.
• Performs installation of approved software on servers, following the standard procedures.
• Configure and install (or coordinate) upgrades/fixes or patches.
• Assists with evaluation, analysis, and maintenance of equipment to meet technical and security standards.
• Assist with the evaluation of efficiency and cost-effectiveness of a solution/resolution.

Primary Technical abilities:

• Deep technical subject matter expertise and practical experience in the Cloud Azure Environment.
  • Compute:
    • Administrative knowledge on deploying VMs into virtual networks and configuring it for optimum cost, performance, and Security standards.
    • Configuration of VM back-up and providing failover recovery in respect to the RTO and RPO.
  • Storage:
    • Setup and configuration of the storage (incl. containers).
    • Secured data access.
    • Archiving and back-up.
  • Network:
    • Deploying and configuring virtual networks.
    • Orchestrating routing paths/hybrid cloud.
    • Managing public and private IP addresses.
  • Security:
    • Azure Active Directory (hybrid AD).
    • Reducing surface attack on all azure resources.
    • Registration will give you access to additional features not available to guest users.

Secondary Technical abilities:

• Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of other virtualization technologies like Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix XenServer.
• Knowledge in Network configuration.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
• Experience with Containers.
• Experience with DevOps environment.
• Knowledge in ITIL framework.

BEHAVIORAL ABILITIES:

• 10 years of experience in infrastructure, 5+ years of experience in virtualization and Wintel, 2 years as Cloud engineer.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn in the IT profession.
• Team player must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department.
• Customer service-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. English speaking mandatory.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand the business constraints.
• Willing to do some traveling.
