Data Operations Head

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Data Operations to lead their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take on ultimate responsibility for the services delivered by the data operations team, setting clear objectives and continuously adapting to changing market conditions.

What you'll do:

As Head of Data Operations, you will hold ultimate responsibility for the services delivered by your team. You will set clear objectives derived from organisational strategy, continuously checking these against changing market conditions. Your role will involve designing, developing and delivering strategic planning approaches for either a significant part of the organisation or for the organisation as a whole. You will lead substantial projects focused on structural changes in complex functions or large departments, transforming business processes, culture, and behaviour to be more inclusive. A key part of your role will be building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.

• Set and communicate the strategy for achieving the organisation's mission, vision and values
• Hold overall responsibility for designing, developing and delivering the strategic planning approach
• Lead the design and manage the delivery of substantial projects focused on structural changes
• Build strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals
• Identify and manage stakeholders up to C-suite level, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans
• Lead a team of 6-7 Circle Leads within the Super Circle, each Circle has between 20-50 members

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Head of Data Operations role will bring a wealth of experience from a global Operations and Service Delivery organisation, with at least 10 years of total experience. You will have a proven track record of working in fast-paced environments, adapting to evolving regulatory requirements and making complex decisions based on a comprehensive set of records. Your strong analytical skills will be key in this role, as well as your ability to function optimally within an Agile environment. A crucial part of this role is the development of high-performing teams; you will need to demonstrate expertise in empowering teams to act autonomously while holding them accountable.

• Proven track record in a global Operations and in a Service Delivery organisation with at least 10 years of total experience
• Experience working in fast-paced environments given evolving regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical skills considering complex set of records
• Capability to optimally function within an Agile environment
• Ability to display flexibility to teams and adapt plan, approach and behaviour to different needs, cultures, and situations
• Expertise in developing high-performing teams and empowering teams to act autonomously while holding them accountable
