Our KOMO team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Makati City with the role of Digital Banking Operations Head .

In this role, you will have to ensure timely and accurate execution of daily processes, including digital onboarding and reconciliation to internal and external systems. Additionally, you'll define and optimize processes for new business models, instigating workflows and collaborating with cross-functional teams for implementation. You'll also be responsible for analyzing operations through data, developing daily dashboards, advising decision-makers, and maintaining database integrity, while contributing to financial improvement by analyzing results, monitoring variances, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

What the role will entail

  • Ensure daily processes are executed on a timely and accurate basis. This includes digital onboarding, resolution of exceptions, and performance of reconciliation to internal and external systems including internal and 3rd party reports.
  • Define processes related to new business models or for optimization of existing processes. These include conducting research, instigating workflows, business procedures and recommended changes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement changes. You will also be in charge of determining relevant data and methods to analyze operations, such as developing daily dashboards for tracking and analysis.
  • Advise decision makers on appropriate courses of action and maintain database by entering, verifying, and backing up data. You will also contribute to the improvement of financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management. You will determine operational costs by establishing standard costs and collecting operational data
  • Reconcile daily embossing file count with waybill orders from 3rd party system and update card inventory, triggering purchase orders if levels are below the re-order point.
  • Handle and resolve escalated issues from CCG to units, update courier portal with address changes for parcels in transit, and ensure timely submission of billing statements for payment processing within vendor payment deadlines.

What were looking for

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related field is preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in operations in a financial institution or payments organization
  • Knowledgeable about banking products and services, back office processing and support functions, and various accounting and financial concepts ideally gained in digital banking
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment, and able to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solver, and able to use sound judgement and make decisions with attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and with a team, as well as handle multiple projects simultaneously and shift priorities depending on business demands and requests
