Job Description - Director - Sales Footwear

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share for the company's footwear products in the Philippines.
  • Lead and manage the sales team, including sales managers, representatives, and merchandisers, to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Establish sales goals, quotas, and performance metrics for the team and monitor performance against targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships to expand the company's presence in the footwear market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, retailers, distributors, and other stakeholders in the footwear industry.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior, and regulatory requirements affecting the footwear market in the Philippines.
  • Lead sales training and development initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales, with a focus on footwear or related consumer goods industry.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the footwear market in the Philippines, including customer preferences, distribution channels, and competitive landscape.
  • Familiarity with sales management tools and techniques, CRM software, and sales forecasting methods.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the Philippines and occasionally internationally, as required.
