POSITION SUMMARY
In charge of conducting and coordinating Food & Beverage Training Program and other core initiatives related to enforcement of operations service standards. Closely monitor compliance of team members to the established standard operating procedures. Recommends initiatives to ensure consistency of standards and contribute in programs to further enhance the skills and knowledge of team members toward service efficiency. Conducts spot checks and audits. Performs administrative duties required to facilitate training activities for his assigned area.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements
Education
• College graduate of any Hospitality Management course is an advantage
Work experience
• At least two (2) years in Learning & Development in a Five Star Hotel | Integrated Resort
• At least two (2) years in Supervisory level position, experience as Department Trainer, Line Trainer is an advantage
Relevant skills
• Strong technical competency in Food and Beverage | Hotel Services
• Pleasing appearance, neat appearance and articulate
• Outgoing and approachable; excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Above average command of both written and spoken English; knowledge of another foreign language is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Programs i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and appropriate Hotel System (POS, OpenTable, Opera, Unifocus etc.)
• Motivator and team-builder
• Creative and talented
• Good moral character
