Forklift Operator

Job Specifications:

• Unloads delivered materials on a daily basis
• Checks received materials prior storage on a daily basis.
• Unloads received materials from truck unto staging area on a daily basis.
• Pulls and prepares materials or stocks for shipment as scheduled.
• Assists Team Leader in loading of materials for dispatch to truck as scheduled.
• Transfers pallets from one area to another (as needed).
• Checks and stores materials for QA disposition on designated location (good/reject location)
• Responsible for quality control of the goods stored in the warehouse and ensures that the stocks are in good condition.
• Confers with Warehouse Supervisor to rectify problems such as damages, shortages or non-conformance to specifications (if any).
• Regularly inspects forklift and other equipment used and ensures that there are no problems or defects in the machines; accomplishes Forklift -Daily Inspection Report and submits it to ILO Maintenance.
• Follows the proper way of operating, handling, storing, and maintaining the forklift.
• Helps in organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Maintains tools and equipment used for unloading and loading the goods.
• Operates and supports warehouse vehicles and equipment preventive maintenance in collaboration with in-house maintenance team.
• On a daily basis, inspects and performs minor maintenance on the forklift and other equipment.
• Follows quality service standards and complies with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
• Performs cycle count on a weekly basis to ensure in-bound and out-bound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Performs other tasks that the Warehouse Leadman and/or Warehouse Supervisor may assign from time to time

• Candidate must have the proficiency required to operate a Forklift.
• Candidate must have the required NC II from TESDA.
• Must have a Driver's License to Operate.
• Ensure manning is complete at start of shift.
• Conducts toolbox meeting every shift.
• Ensure safe practices of forklift operation.
• Ensure good housekeeping of areas of responsibility.
• Operates the forklift & does forklift operations within areas of responsibility.
• Disposes waste & relieve any absent operator.
• Conducts safety incidents investigation.
• Maintains forklift & ensure its working condition.
• Does other jobs assigned as needed.
