Job Role:

The Accountant is a resourceful problem solver who will take ownership of critical accounting tasks. He/she will play an important part in the ability of the organization to realize its financial objectives by effectively and efficiently recording the financial operations of the organization. Key challenges will include regularly maintaining accounting processes and systems for the business requiring the role to have a strong knowledge in financial accounting and skills in accounting systems (e.g. QuickBooks) as well as maintaining accurate accounting records. He/she will be responsible for compliance to regulatory bodies’ requirements such as filing and payment of taxes and licenses to BIR, submission of reports and other requirements to SEC, remittances of contributions to SSS, HDMF, PHIC.

Reponsibilities:

• Perform day to day accounting duties in AP, AR, cash management, bank reconciliations, payroll, fixed assets, general ledger and other duties as assigned
• Perform monthly close process by posting monthly journal entries, performing account reconciliations and ad-hoc financial analysis
• FS Preparation - ensures accuracy of all entries and prepares necessary adjusting journal entries
• Prepares management reports - schedule of billing, cash position, other accounting reports and schedules as required
• Maintain regular contact and build solid working relationships with various client groups to ensure a high level of customer service and work product

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• CPA is highly preferred
• With at least 3 years of relative work experience in General Accounting, AP, AR, Taxation, BIR reporting, Audit
• Solid understanding with general accounting principles and audit standards
• Proficient use in various MS Office Applications and QuickBooks
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
• Detail-oriented, highly analytical and accurate
• Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Willing to work in a hybrid setup.

• Internet Connection : Must be at least 5 mbps
• Computer/Laptop: Must have a good working computer.
• Headset : Must have a noise cancelling headset
• Dedicated Home Office - Must have a dedicated home office free from noise and distractions.
• Webcam - for meeting purposes
