Job Description - HR Internal Recruiter

Job Summary:

As an internal recruiter specializing in both permanent and internship recruitment, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring top-tier candidates to meet the organization's talent needs across various levels. Your role will involve managing the recruitment process from initial sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for all new hires, whether they are joining as permanent employees or interns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sourcing and Candidate Engagement:
  • Utilize multiple channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and university partnerships, to attract a diverse pool of candidates for permanent and internship positions.
  • Engage with candidates through proactive outreach, networking activities, and targeted communication to build strong relationships and promote the organization as an employer of choice.
  1. End-to-End Recruitment:
  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle for both permanent and internship roles, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and assessing candidates' qualifications and fit for the organization.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, facilitate interview panels, and gather feedback from hiring managers to guide the selection process effectively.
  • Extend job offers, negotiate terms as necessary, and oversee the offer acceptance process for permanent hires and interns alike.
  1. Internship Program Coordination:
  • Design, plan, and execute the organization's internship program, collaborating with department heads to define program objectives, structure, and learning outcomes.
  • Lead efforts to attract high-potential interns through campus recruitment events, internship fairs, and partnerships with educational institutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to interns, ensuring they have meaningful learning experiences and opportunities for professional growth throughout their tenure.
  1. Onboarding and Integration:
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for both permanent hires and interns, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to prepare orientation materials, facilitate new hire orientation sessions, and introduce new employees to company policies, procedures, and culture.
  • Monitor the onboarding experience, gather feedback from new hires, and identify areas for improvement to enhance the overall integration process.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
  • Proven minimum of 3 years experience in recruitment, with a focus on sourcing and end-to-end recruitment processes for both permanent and internship positions.
  • Strong understanding of various sourcing techniques and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours when necessary to accommodate candidate schedules or meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
