Management - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment)

Position Description:

As the Human Resources Manager, you will hold a central role in cultivating a workplace culture that values excellence and performance. Ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulations, you will oversee a spectrum of HR functions including compensation and benefits, recruitment and staffing, training and development, employee relations, and legal compliance. Your expertise and leadership will be pivotal in shaping our organizational culture, fostering employee engagement, and driving our performance-driven objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management:
    • Serve as a liaison between HR and internal stakeholders, ensuring that internal client needs are met within established service levels.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with external clients to ensure seamless HR outsourcing service delivery.
  • Organizational Development:
    • Lead initiatives for organizational development aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, and employee satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with senior management to identify areas for organizational improvement and implement strategic interventions.
    • Drive cultural transformation initiatives that align with the company's values and strategic objectives.
  • Recruitment and Staffing:
    • Lead the recruitment and selection process, from job posting to onboarding.
    • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates in accordance with local regulations.
    • Collaborate with department managers to assess staffing needs and develop hiring plans accordingly.
  • Training and Development:
    • Develop comprehensive training programs, including organizational orientation, department orientation, and job-specific training, to facilitate employee growth and development.
    • Coordinate and conduct training sessions on various topics, such as leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and compliance training.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor and mediator in resolving employee conflicts and grievances, adhering to Philippine labor laws and company policies.
    • Promote a positive work environment by fostering open communication and addressing employee concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.
    • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and ensure compliance with company policies and Philippine labor laws.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
    • Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits packages compliant with Philippine labor laws to attract and retain top talent.
    • Regularly review and update compensation structures and benefit offerings to align with industry standards and organizational goals.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding compensation inquiries and benefit programs.
  • Employee Satisfaction:
    • Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and motivation within the workforce.
    • Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to assess employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with department heads to develop action plans based on survey results and feedback.
  • Labor Laws and Legal Compliance:
    • Stay updated on Philippine labor laws and regulations, including the Labor Code of the Philippines, and ensure compliance in all HR practices and policies.
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees.
    • Partner with legal counsel as needed to address complex HR issues and mitigate potential liabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in Human Resources Management, minimum of five (5) years, with a focus on compensation and benefits, recruitment and staffing, training and development, employee relations, employee satisfaction, and Philippine legal compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the Philippines, including the Labor Code of the Philippines, DOLE regulations, and other relevant statutes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other tools for presentations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Great organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in English speaking and writing, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Work Schedule:

  • 8-Hour Shifts, including Day, Afternoon, and Rotational Shifts
  • Includes Weekends and Holidays
