Job Description - Information Technology Officer III

Position: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER III (SYSTEMS AND NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR) Place of Assignment: Credit Information Management Services GroupMonthly Salary: Php. 80,003.00 + AllowanceItem No. OCIMSG-TSD-002

Qualification Standards:● Education: Master’s degree or Certificate in Leadership and Management Program from the CSC ● Experience: At least 4 years of supervisory/management experience● Training: 40 hours of supervisory/management learning and development intervention ● Eligibility: Career Service Professional / Second-level eligibility● Competencies: Exemplifying Integrity and Professionalism, Strategic and Systems Thinking, Delivering

Job Responsibilities:

● Technical Competencies: IT Service Delivery; Technology Management; Information Management;Information Assurance

● Implements and maintains standards, policies, and procedures on the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of servers and corresponding operating and system software, network, and communication facilities located in the primary and backup data centers;

● Installs, configures and fine-tunes servers, network, and communications facilities for the primary and backup data centers

● Installs configures, and fine-tunes new operating and systems software and upgrades, patches, and enhancements to this software;

● Coordinates with 3rd party service providers and vendors for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, operating and systems software, network, and communication facilities;

● Manages, maintains, and monitors the performance of all Data Center servers, network, and communication facilities;

● Assists the Technical Support Head in the conduct of capacity planning on servers and their operating and systems software, in particular, CPU, memory, and disk utilization, to ensure projected requirements are met;

● Assists the Technical Support Head in the conduct of capacity planning on network and communications facilities, in particular, bandwidth utilization to ensure projected requirements are met;

● Supports Data Center and Network operations personnel in resolving production problems as needed;● Reviews and analyzes problem logs, to ensure quick resolution to address production problems;● Installs and maintains systems and network security equipment such as firewalls in the Data Center in

coordination with the Information Security Officer;● Installs and maintains the anti-virus and/or internet security software for servers in coordination with the

Information Security Officer;● Prepares periodic performance reports as required;● Adheres to company policies and procedures;● Adheres to Technology and Operations policies and procedures;● Adheres to Information Security policies and procedures; and,● Performs other duties that may be required by the supervising head.
