Management Information Systems Manager

Nature of Employment: Regular - Fulltime

Purpose:

The MIS Manager is responsible for Managing the Club's information system. Also, he is responsible for developing and implementing new technologies for the Club that provide more efficient business processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

System Administration

1. Oversee the administration and maintenance of the Club's Management Information Systems, ensuring smooth operations.

2. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels to safeguard data integrity.

Infrastructure Management

1. Plan, implement, and maintain the IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and other hardware.

2. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the security of IT assets.

Database Management

1. Administer and optimize databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

2. Implement backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical data.

Software Solutions

1. Evaluate, recommend, and implement software solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

2. Collaborate with departments to understand software requirements and customize solutions accordingly.

Security and Compliance

1. Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures.

2. Ensures compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.

Technical Support

1. Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.

2. Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance their IT proficiency.

Project Management

1. Lead and participate in IT projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.

2. Collaborate with external vendors for project implementation and issue resolution.

Budget Oversight

1. Assist in the development and management of the IT budget.

2. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising system efficiency.

Experience:

Systems Management: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

Certification on CompTIA Security+ (Required)

Certification on Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (Required)

Certification on Microsoft: Azure Administrator (Required)

Ability to Commute:

Makati City (Preferred)

Qualification Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or any related field.

2. At least 5 years experience in MIS management, or a similar role.

3. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network administration, and database management.

4. Familiarity with security protocols, data protection, and compliance standards.

5. Excellent project management and organizational skills.

6. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

7. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CCNA) are a plus.
