The client is a design and project management consultancy serving marine and aquatic projects worldwide. The team combines building and engineering systems design skills with architecture and scientific disciplines to undertake projects such as marine research facilities, large water parks, underwater observatories, aquatic environment restoration, zoological projects, aquatic centers, geothermal projects, and aquaculture projects.
We are seeking a technical engineer to join the growing office in Manila who has experience and has practiced in, any of the mechanical (HVAC), water treatment, civil, process or similar such as building hydraulics, environmental disciplines in a consulting environment and wishes to build a career in working with aquatics in the built environment. The client will provide training in their specialty fields of water treatment, life support systems and facility design through mentoring and stimulating project collaboration.
With many of their clients’ projects involving ESD and contributing to conservation and climate change research, joining the team would appeal to those seeking a role offering diverse projects with many interesting technical, environmental, and commercial challenges. The role will suit a person with good communication skills who enjoys working in a creative, collaborative, and dynamic environment, and who relishes new challenges.
Provide expertise on various hydraulic projects that may include review and improvements (The client will provide training in their specialty areas). Pool exhibit and environment design, wave systems, surge devices, etc – engineering ‘art’ Engineering calculations including pump head calculations, flow rates, heat exchanger selections, electrical loadings, etc as examples Incorporating equipment selections into spatial arrangements Collaborating with other Engineers, Modellers, Drafters, Project Managers, architects and other team members Cost Estimating Writing reports Researching and analyzing codes and standards Project administration Supporting current engineers, design staff, and project management team Reading drawings and marking up documents Utilizing Revit or AutoCAD Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Mechanical, civil or similar Engineering discipline required. Preferred minimum three years of related experience
Set-up and Location: Onsite | Ortigas, Pasig
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Manila time
Employment Type: Full-time
