Middleware Administrator

The Middleware Administrator designs, builds and evaluates Middleware components, as required for a business project(s). Collaborates and coordinates closely with other Infrastructure and project team members to gather and consolidate all their middleware requirements and expectations.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

• and build new version of middleware technologies running on Linux and or AIX Platforms.
• and Support Middleware Technologies (Oracle Traffic Director, Weblogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Apache Tomcat, JBOSS, ControlM, MOVEiT, etc.)
• & Binary package installation and Middleware Upgrade
• technical support of Development, Test and Production environments.
• input for middleware technologies design standard.
• input to low-level designs.
• the installation of application releases into Test environments, including delivery of container build scripts.
• issues affecting customer service and resolve them.
• build requirement for VMs and/or server set-up
• to the development of documentation and standards.
• Middleware Infrastructure to new versions and support the migration of applications by development teams.
• inputs in estimating project builds
• with application teams regarding Middleware (e.g. Weblogic) Code of Connection and integration issues.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

• degree in Computer Science or related field
• least 5 years of experience with Middleware Administration, preferably with Oracle systems
• in the following systems:
• Installation and Administration
• Fusion Middleware Installation and Administration (preferably skills with OSB, OBIEE, ODI)
• (Oracle Linux/Red Hat Linux distro specific) Administration and Scripting
• Tomcat Installation and Administration
• Traffic Director Installation and Administration
• Installation and Administration
• Performance Tuning
• Installation and Administration
• and Capacity Planning
• Integration (experience - Infrastructure Architect)
• (IT Infrastructure Library) Knowledge
