OPERATIONS HEAD

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible in planning, directing, and controlling the end to end aspects of operational execution to cover the following areas:Negotiates and builds business relationships with external parties (3PL’s, airlines, shipping lines and government agencies) to improve competitiveness and quality of service to customers.
• Pick-up and delivery operations within the context of field sales (rolling stores)
• Operations of all branches nationwide (physical stores). (to take out if BOD direction is to eventually make Branch Ops a separate Operations Group)
• end to end operations execution covering key accounts like Avon, TBPI, and other corporate accounts
• Manila Distribution Center/Gateway Operations (from receiving, consolidation to shipment via airlines, RoRo, and Land.)
• Perishables Cargo Operations
• Track & Trace control center (Operations Control)
• Proactively reviews and understands customer and market requirements to build solutions to meet the current and potential needs of the customers.
• Provides daily, weekly and monthly operational reports, to Management highlighting business performance
• Drives efficient operations that not only meet operational control and standards but deliver topline expectations as well in coordination with the Commercial team and other support groups
• Provides leadership, guidance and support to the team, train and motivate staff, develop appropriate succession plans.
• Acts as a positive contributor in the attainment of the overall company objectives, as a member of the management committee (mancom)
• Manages all resources to ensure optimum utilization, control items of expenditure to pre-determine budgetary levels by maintaining a prudent cost control policy.
