Job Description - Operations Manager

  • Giving ideas and recommendations about the store’s promotions to increase Average checks and Transaction counts.
  • Ensuring all promo and new product launchings are being implemented in the store accordingly.
  • Prepares monthly sales action plans for critical stores. Creates new strategies and plans if sales are not met.
  • Responsible for analyzing daily sales reports like P&L and Inventory Management.

Ensure Sales targets are met.

  • Giving ideas and recommendations about the store’s promotions to increase Average checks and Transaction counts.
  • Ensuring all promo and new product launchings are being implemented in the store accordingly.
  • Prepares monthly sales action plans for critical stores. Creates new strategies and plans if sales are not met.
  • Responsible for analyzing daily sales reports like P&L and Inventory Management.

Ensure Labor cost targets are met.

  • Providing store manpower/plantilla during weekdays, weekends, and holidays without compromising the quality of service. 

Ensure COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) targets are met. 

  • Giving strategies on how to lower cogs and ensuring that it is being done in the stores accordingly. 

Administrative:

  • Negotiate with lessors 
  • Negotiate with LGUs
  • Proficiency in writing business letters in decent English as needed with lessors and LGUs

Other Duties:

  • Ensures effective and smooth implementation of sales and marketing programs in all stores.
  • Very knowledgeable in all areas of operations in the Back of House and Front of House systems
  • Reviews and implements system-wide processes and procedures to improve deliverables on the following operations KRA’s: (People Development, Sales and Marketing management, Profitability management and Quality, Service, Cleanliness and Hospitality Standards)
  • Analyzes performance bottlenecks and provides corrective actions and preventive measures
  • Conducts regular audits and monitors performance to ensure strict adherence to SOPs and guidelines
  • Implements cost savings to reduce expenses.
  • Prepares well thought action plans to improve profitability

Team Management:

  • Identifies, inspires, motivates and retain high potential employee/s and applies appropriate measures for career advancement. Provides mentorship to team
  • Achieves and sustains high-level of performance from management team.
  • Appoints appropriate management team for all stores to achieve maximum potential for both people and operations.
  • Regularly conducts objective performance evaluations of direct reports; reviews and approves management team performance evaluations.
  • Identifies and recommends required skills and competencies to enhance management and leadership skills.
  • Collaborate with HR regarding hiring and training and provide training to team members as needed.

Job Specifications:

  • With a minimum of 5 years Restaurant Operations Manager in Store Operations experience in a managerial level as Senior Area Manager or equivalent position
  • Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or any other food related discipline.
  • ·Willing to travel
  • Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)
  • Extensive computer literacy on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet.
  • Ability to adapt to new systems
  • Ability to negotiate with lessors 
  • Ability to negotiate with LGUs
  • Ability to write in decent English
  • Solution-oriented individual
  • Engaging and outgoing personality
