Job Description - PACS and IT Support for Quezon City

TITLE: PACS and I.T. SUPPORT LOCATION: , Quezon City

REPORTING TO:

Administrative: Service Administrator (All Geographic Areas) Functional: Service Supervisor DIRECT REPORTS: Not applicable

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for installation, support, maintenance and repair of equipment in the office and at client sites

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Junior Service Engineer 1. Install equipment in a manner that ensures maximum customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness. Collect all necessary information including site specifications and conditions, develop installation plans, prepare products and necessary tools with supervision of Senior Service Engineer. 2. Provide technical support and training. 3. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems (thru call, email and onsite) 4. Debug equipment software/system. (thru call, email and onsite) 5. Perform equipment repairs and/or preventive maintenance. 6. Document all services/repair/maintenance work in CRM 7. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses 8. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management. 9. Ad hoc administrative tasks as required Technical Support 10. Identifying hardware and software solutions. 11. Resolve technical issues through troubleshooting. 12. Providing support in the form of procedural documentation. 13. Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to end-users, including radiologists, technologists, and IT staff, to resolve PACS-related issues promptly and effectively. 14. Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose hardware and software issues within the PACS environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions. 15. System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, data backups, and system optimizations, to ensure PACS reliability and performance. 16. User Training: Conduct training sessions and create documentation to educate users on PACS features, functionalities, and best practices. 17. Data Management: Ensure the secure and efficient storage, retrieval, and distribution of medical images within the PACS system. 18. Compliance: Maintain awareness of healthcare industry regulations, such as HIPAA, and ensure that the PACS system remains compliant with all relevant standards. 19. Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality assurance checks on images and data to ensure accuracy and consistency. 20. Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors, IT teams, and other stakeholders to implement system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements. 21. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of support activities, configurations, and changes for auditing and reporting purposes. 22. Emergency Support: Be available for on-call support during emergencies or system downtime, ensuring minimal disruption to healthcare services. Team 23. Assist and perform product demonstrations, product set-up and operations during company trade shows and medical conventions 24. Provide technical support to assist Sales Executives in responding to questions from potential customers. QUALIFICATION/ SKILLS: Technical training or experience in IT, Engineering, Industrial electronics or related fields Customer service orientation, client-facing and communication skills Industry latest technology trends and applications Organization Customer Service Setting goals and objectives Delegating Providing assistance and support Providing a climate for motivation Mentoring and creating a supportive working relationship Emphasizing continuing development Providing opportunities for growth and advancement
