Payroll Specialist Job Summary The Payroll Specialist is responsible for support and co-ordinate the international payroll processing business needs and reporting requirements of Forcepoint and delivering a scalable global employee-enabling services.
The successful candidate should have demonstrated strong payroll knowledge and experience primarily for EMEA, LATAM and APAC-based countries, be analytical with strong problem-solving skills, possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This person should be used to working in a fast-paced environment, deadline driven with attention to detail. Reporting to the Payroll Manager and this is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, detail-oriented candidate to thrive in a dynamic environment. Essential Functions
. Process full cycle semi-monthly and monthly payroll (including regular pay, bonuses, commissions, other variable pay and garnishments according to agreed payroll cut off dates and deadlines.
. Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and retrieved data from workday reports and payroll input data from HR
. Review workday report, data updates and prepare payroll input to payroll system/payroll templates against appropriate back up changes and employee related pay and deductions.
. Liase with payroll provider for in country related payroll specific queries and support needed for the business
. Review payroll run reports and validation against the changes/inputs provided to payroll provider
. Prepare payroll review and approval communication request to payroll manager
. Review and validate Payroll funding invoices from iiPAY and update forecast with actual amounts
. Prepare the payroll settlement uploads and bank approval request to treasury and banking team
. Download and completion of all payroll related reports to Forcepoint archiving system
. Ensure end to end payroll process completion, reconciliation with net pay payment, tax payments and communication to accounting team on reconciling variances
. Provide internal and external audit support as needed by the business
. Timely address and provide courteous and helpful advice in response to employee queries assigned from EMEA Payroll inbox
. Ad-hoc projects, analysis and tasks as required. Additional position requirements include: . Minimum 2+years of payroll specialist and operational experience
. International payroll experience, in a large company preferred
. Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance related field.
. Knowledge of time and payroll systems required.
. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
