Job Description - Project Management Associate

About the Role: The Project Management Associate is a proactive, target-driven, and self-motivated go-getter with a passion for development work and relevant experience in handling and executing development projects. The role will work as a part of ASSIST's Project Management Office to support ASSIST's efforts as a leading capacity development organization that works on sustainable projects to improve the lives of vulnerable communities and key target groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative and Communication Functions
  2. Actively engage and maintain a sound working relationship with donors, partners, and beneficiaries during the conduct of projects.
  3. Utilize tools, instruments, files and documents properly (project management, communication, task management) in the conduct of project management
  4. Manage the implementation and coordination of all activities in the identified project sites and initiate onsite interactions with target communities and local partners.
  5. Mobilize communities and disseminate information about the project to promote community support.
  6. Provide support in conducting baseline data collection and situational analysis.
  7. Conduct training and capacity building initiatives.
  8. Prepare, draft, and finalize reports to be submitted to the donors and partners after careful review of the PMO Lead and Executive Director.
  9. Participate in regular project review meetings (weekly/monthly) to review Key Result Areas (KRA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  10. Collect data from the field in line with program indicators and submit regular updates, reports and case studies on success stories and lessons learned to the Project Manager.
  11. Submit timely reports for donors, for partners, and for the management.
  12. Maintain suitable records and statistical information for management information requirements.
