Job Description - Regional Sales Manager

Regional Sales Manager Job Description Summary: Plan, direct and implement Sales strategies and programs to achieve on exceed the sales objectives for the region. Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Drive and deliver sales activities to achieve sales profitability.
  2. Analyze sales reports, interpret results and take appropriate action to achieve sales targets.
  3. Participate in marketing initiatives for the area and recommend modifications to market strategies in light of market trends in the area.
  4. Formulation of innovative marketing strategies and programs.
  5. Proper assignment of people and appropriate use of resources. Monitor and control the sales budget to ensure optimum utilization of resources in the region.
  6. Identification of sales trade in the region by conducting regular market visits to check route coverage, competitors' activity and continuously search for new opportunities in order to increase sales in the region.
  7. Work in partnership with HR in staff-related issues such as performance management through coaching and counseling, enforcing policies, career development, and general leadership.
  8. Support staff receiving appropriate coaching, training, and development to perform required duties in areas such as sales, stock control, merchandising, administrative responsibilities, and product knowledge.
  9. Achieve regional sales operations objectives by contributing regional sales information; preparing and completing action plans; implementing customer standards; resolving problems; completing audits. Identify and action inventory management issues.

  • Must possess strong leadership and keen business sense
  • Analytical, assertive, and computer literate
  • Good facilitation and presentation skills, conflict management, Interpersonal skills & building people capability.
  • Graduate of Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing Economics or equivalent
  • At least with Three (3) years experience in the required position
  • With familiarization in handling FMCG Modern Trade Accounts especially in skincare products.
