Job Description

The CIB Securities Processing Department is responsible for Broker-Dealer Operations focused on Settlements, Reconciliation and Regulatory Reporting. Role.

As a Regulatory Reporting Associate II in Securities Operations, you will have the opportunity to support the Broker-Dealer Servicing Business, handling Reconciliation, Controls and Regulatory reporting (FED, FINRA, SEC). You will have a frequent exposure to senior leaders through reporting and securing approval. You will act as a critical intermediary between internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Must be able to analyze complex and ambiguous issues to recommend creative solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment with an emphasis on risk mitigation and efficiency
  • Ability to synthesize information to formulate a concise message for Management
  • Interpersonal skills including ability to foster a collaborative, positive work environment with stakeholders and peers
  • Lead process innovation and reduction of Manual Touchpoints and Bespoke processes 
  • Partnering with fellow Associates to ensure completeness of process reconciliation, control and resiliency plans
  • Under tight, regulatory driven deadlines, coordinate the large-scale remittance of various report types to multiple stakeholders.
  • Utilize proprietary and industry data management tools to identify automation and process improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience Settlements, Reconciliation and Regulatory Reporting 
  • Client focused, Control Oriented and keen to details 
  • Able to grasp/learn concepts and procedures quickly
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office products’ (Excel, Word, Power point, Access
  • Good oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to work both independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility of operating hours to include overtime, holidays, and weekend testing

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Experience on Securities Operations would be an added advantage
  • Data and analytical experience (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) a plus
  • Familiarity with automation, data analysis, and data visualization tools a plus (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, etc.)
