Job Description - Business and Product Analyst

PCX Markets is a fully transparent plastic credit marketplace for audited, traceable plastic waste recovery and responsible processing worldwide. Our marketplace activates an ecosystem of partners who collect, transport and responsibly process plastic waste, which is tracked and verified through the power of blockchain technology, while supporting communities on the ground with programs that improve livelihoods and scale social impact.

PCX began as a non-profit in the Philippines, one of the epicenters of the plastic pollution crisis. The company, which is now headquartered in Singapore and Manila, has enabled the clean up of over 58 million kilograms of plastic waste globally.

Job Overview:

PCX is seeking a Business and Product Analyst who is passionate about sustainability and ending plastic pollution, is an expert in CRM sales tools, and has high attention to detail for data and order management. In this key role, you will analyze, administer, and manage the ongoing configuration of the data and systems and products that power PCX's global plastic impact. Your focus will be on ensuring our impact operations and data is running smoothly as our organization rapidly scales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CRM administration, data analysis, project management and a demonstrated passion for environmental issues. You will report to the Head of Operations and Strategy and work closely with the Sales, Supply, Finance, and Technology teams. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing administration and configuration of our Sales CRM with internal order fulfillment tracking systems in partnership with the technology and sales teams 
  • Reviewing and approving plastic impact documentation from customers and plastic impact project partners
  • A project management role in new product implementation, including liaising with business development, marketing, operations, and technology teams to ensure smooth deployment
  • Ongoing management of PCX products, including data integrity, website descriptions, customer data reporting, CRM integration, collaboration with the business development team on renewals, and general product management tasks
  • Data extraction and analysis for dashboard reporting, productivity improvement, and product performance
  • Learning, administering, providing input to internal policies, and approving documentation for the leading plastic standards
  • Managing project data and pricing on the PCX platform in partnership with plastic impact project partners, the supply manager, and the technology team
  • Performing quality checks on internal impact documentation and data
  • Synthesizing and analyzing sales and pricing trends to identify insights
  • Maintaining PCX Cumulative impact in partnership with the head of Operations and Strategy, Finance, Supply, and technology teams, and the website comms team
  • Supporting the Marketing and Sales teams in CRM contact creation and outreach
  • Partnering with the business development team to identify and implement operational improvements

Qualifications and skills:

  • Two years experience working with an enterprise CRM (HubSpot Preferred)
  • High attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Environmental Science, Business Administration or a related field 
  • Minimum 4 years of full-time work experience, ideally in a B2B environment with at least 2 working directly with a CRM
  • Experience launching and maintaining new products, preferably in a B2B setting
  • Robust project management skills; ability to run multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment 
  • Ability and willingness to execute while balancing near-term impact while managing long-term strategies
  • Experience working with B2B sales teams
  • Passion for sustainable impact to end plastic waste 
  • Experience extracting and analyzing business and sales data

Work Arrangement - Hybrid :

This role offers a hybrid model, combining the flexibility of remote work with weekly office presence for team integration. Additionally, it involves essential in-person meetings with PCX personnel and occasional in-person all-hands meetings. The nature of our global team will require you to participate in early morning or evening meetings from time to time.
