Job Description - Business Operations Manager

Tribal’s vision is to empower the world of education and we make it our mission to provide the software and services which underpin student success.

The Revenue Operations team support this mission by providing internal systems and support that assist sales, marketing, finance, professional services and support teams in tracking and reporting new sales and renewal opportunities, activities, engagements, time & expenses and support tickets with our prospects and customers.

The Business Operations Manager is responsible for the setting up and monitoring Tribal’s Customer Engagements within our PSA system, Kantata Professional Services Cloud, previously known as Kimble PSA. This involves ensuring the completeness and accuracy of data, timely period close, as well support with reporting. A key part of the role is ensuring data integrity through scheduled data audits and follow up. The Services team additionally provide technical support to PSA system users.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee, monitor and report on the accurate and timely set up and closure of Engagements in Tribal’s PSA and Finance systems
  • Track the completion of engagement milestones and annuities, in liaison with Professional Services and Finance
  • Manage timely PSA Period Close (weekly/monthly) and communicate with relevant stakeholders in Finance and Professional Services
  • Ensure CRM and PSA data integrity through robust processes and a framework for data reconciliation, audit and follow up
  • Provide PSA technical support to Professional Services and other key stakeholders, managing the escalation of issues when required
  • Manage key supporting business processes including billing requests and expense approvals
  • Drive system and process improvements to minimise issues and ensure timely resolution of system issues/errors between Tribal’s PSA and D365F&O
  • Contribute to the development and collation of Kantata training and guidance materials in collaboration with Platform Operations and Finance

What can you bring to Tribal?

Applicants should have strong communication skills, customer engagement skills, leadership skills, process improvement, and project management skills.

Ideally, you'll have experience in the following:

  • At least 5 to 10 years in the industry
  • Managing any professional services automation (PSA), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and software or Project Accounting Modules
  • Strong experience in Billing and Customer Engagement
  • Experience in supporting other regions globally

Also, a bonus if you have experience with:

  • Preferably Kantata or Kimble PSA (If none, candidates are encouraged to still apply if they have experience in similar platforms)
  • Leadership and management skills

Other key role details:

  • Hybrid working arrangement (8 days a month onsite for now)
  • Monday to Friday, weekends off
  • Midshift schedule (2:00 pm to 11:00 pm)
  • Office: 5 E-Com, Harbor Drive, MOA, Pasay
