Our client is a multifaceted accountant and business consultant with over thirty years of experience. Their team offers a full staffing solution by providing business clients with skilled tax accountants financial accountants administrators executive assistants and marketers. Their practical training courses not only teach theory but more importantly how to do accounting and tax work in Australia. JOB DESCRIPTION FOR AN INTERMEDIATE BOOKKEEPER Responsibilities as an Intermediate Bookkeeper: Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Installment Activity Statements (IAS).
Process payroll including STP PAYG and Superannuation reconciliation.
Perform monthend functions such as reporting and resolving account discrepancies.
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding financial matters.
Utilize MYOB XERO XPM QuickBooks and Dext for bookkeeping tasks.
Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Demonstrate a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks. Qualifications as an Intermediate Bookkeeper: Minimum 23 years of experience as an Australian bookkeeper.
Must have IFS Software Experience.
Proficiency in MYOB XERO XPM QuickBooks Dext and Microsoft Office 365/Excel.
Strong understanding of Australian tax regulations and compliance.
Experience with managing multiple clients efficiently.
Highly organized detailoriented and adept at problemsolving.
