Senior Paralegal

Mission

Supports the lawyer in the management and organization of legal files in compliance with legal provisions, regulations and internal rules.

 

Main Responsibilities

• Prepares legal files and contracts : analyzes files/contracts, drafts contract documentation or contract management elements, monitors contract files, updates contracts, conducts legal research, drafts briefing notes on risks and opportunities, etc.

• Assists lawyers in the preparation of negotiations

• Monitors budgets, provisions, expenses, etc.

• Takes charge of administrative tasks : administrative processing of files, filing, archiving, etc.

• Participates in regulatory watch : conducts legal research, follows the evolution of regulations and case law, etc. 

• Ensures reporting : updated tracking tables

• Ensures the interface between lawyers and external organizations

• Manages the legal documentary database : updates file tracking data

Profile

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 2-5 years of experience
