Asia Core Cash Operations is responsible for completing fund transfer requests/payments received from our clients both financial & non-financial institutions. Transaction requests are received both electronically and manually. As a Cash Operations Team Leader, you will be directly responsible for the day to day operations, including transaction processing â€' payments and receivable ecommerce payments client service & and database controls. You will be responsible for understanding the key metrics and risk components and support the operations lead to meet the financial goals and objectives put forth by the line of business, while partnering globally with the regions where the business operations are located.
As a Team Leader in Asia Cash Operations, you will have the opportunity to directly manage day-to-day operations, including transaction processing, ecommerce payments, client service, and database controls. You will play a crucial role in understanding key metrics and risk components, supporting the operations lead to meet our financial goals. This role provides a unique opportunity to partner globally with regions where our business operations are located, enhancing your international business exposure and network.
Job responsibilities:
- Process Payments (Electronics & Manuals): Transaction monitoring and processing. Serve as either maker , checker or authorizer of the transactions received. Ensure that transactions are completed accurately and that high value, urgent transactions are prioritized.
- Provide Support: Complete accurately the tasks assigned for the process within the cut-off time. May serve as either maker or checker of the task.
- Ensure that the checklist is followed, and queue is monitored at all times.
- Monitor and respond to email correspondence from In-country and both internal and external clients.
- Assist in issue resolution and providing incident report
- Escalate issues as soon as identified.
- Complete all mandatory trainings assigned prior to set due date.
- Cross train in processes of Asia core cash operations
- Perform product verification tests on the system as and when required.
- Provide process improvements to enhance the system and participate in projects call as and when needed.
- Deliver on reports and administrative tasks assigned.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Has at least 5 years work experience in payment operations/cash operations
- Understanding of and experience in Payments, Swift, Correspondent banking etc.
- Client focus minded
- Knowledge of various aspects of International Payment Processing Operations
- Working/Expert Knowledge of SWIFTS & international payment conventions & practices is a must.
- Excellent communication and presentations skills across various stakeholders and senior management
- Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
