Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor specializing in short format UGC content to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual narrative of our content, ensuring that it is compelling, captivating, and optimized for various digital platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with our content creation team and contribute to the development of engaging content across various digital platforms specifically you will be working closely in collaboration with a copywriter, graphic designer, social media manager, performance marketing lead.

Responsibilities:

Edit short format user-generated content (UGC) videos to enhance storytelling and engage our audience.

Collaborate closely with copywriters, producers, and other team members to ensure the creative vision is realized.

Utilize editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Davince Resolve) to edit, trim, arrange, and color-grade footage effectively.

Incorporate graphics, music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance the overall impact of the videos.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in video editing, and digital content creation.

Optimize videos for different platforms and formats, including social media channels (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spanchat).

Maintain organization of video assets and adhere to project deadlines.

Back up and organize working and finished projects

Ability to edit 1 video per hour (videos are sub-1 minute long), 7-8 videos per normal day

Requirements:

2-3 years experience as a Video Editor, preferably with a focus on short format UGC content.

Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve or similar programs.

Strong understanding of storytelling principles and visual storytelling techniques.

Creative flair with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.

A portfolio or reel showcasing previous work in video editing, particularly short format UGC content, is required.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Film Production, Digital Media, or a related field.

Experience working in a fast-paced digital media environment.

Familiarity with social media platforms and their video requirements.

Knowledge of basic motion graphics and animation techniques is a plus.

Language Requirements:

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements:

• Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
• Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
• 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
• Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth).
• Photocopy of 2 valid IDs - front & back (government-issued)
• Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
• Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC's Onboarding Team)
