Job Description - Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the effective and efficient management of warehousing and distribution function of the Company with primary objectives of:
1. maximizing support to production in terms of packaging and raw material receiving, storage, and timely issuance (loading and unloading);
2. maximizing support to sales and marketing operations in terms of timely issuance and delivery of finished goods to customers.

 

  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
| 1. WAREHOUSING
a. Commits to maintaining the established standard of quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
b. Monitors the movement of inventories.
c. Aligns warehouse activities with the entire supply chain activities.
d. Implements and monitors the proper implementation of identified warehousing strategies to maximize the efficiency of warehouse utilization.
e. Monitors and completes the complete order cycle.
f. Maintains a monitoring system for slow-moving products. 2. ADMINISTRATIVE  
a. Maintains accurate, complete, and up-to-date inventory records and ensures that inventory reports are prepared and submitted to the Logistics Operations Manager on a weekly basis. 
b. Supports the collection of appropriate feedback in relation to suppliers’ performance.
c. Supports the writing, updating, and implementation of efficient and effective set of policies and procedures in warehousing and distribution aligned by offering suggestions and recommendations based on actual operational concerns and strict implementation by his/her team. 
d. Implements the safety and health protocols in the Company’s warehouses, including proper maintenance of vehicles/trucks. 
e. Implements the approved deployment plans of goods and routes of delivery vehicle, and submits recommendations for improvements.
f. Communicates / cascades specific guidelines to warehouse personnel in alignment with corporate-wide policies, procedures, and directions. 
g. Maintains the following documents/files: ·

  • Prduct/Material Receiving Report (PMRR) 
  • Product Transfer Advice (PTA) 
  • Job Order (JO)

h. Provides feedback on the status of storage and delivery status, including warehouse facilities on a regular basis as inputs to plan for continuous improvements.
i. Plans, prepares, and adjusts work schedules and duty assignments according customer needs, problems, and work-loads.
j. Monitors the usage and replenishment of petty cash to support day-to-day operational requirements. 3. PRODUCTION SUPPORT
a. Monitors production schedules to align with delivery schedules.
b. Monitors the quality performance of toll formulators to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards of LEADS. 4. DISTRIBUTION SUPPORT
a. Monitors completion of delivery schedules to customers on a day-to-day basis to ensure that prescribed delivery commitments are fulfilled.
b. Ensures that all necessary resources of the delivery team per schedule are available/on-hand. 5. ADMINISTRATION
a. Ensures full compliance of employees in relation to submission of reports, liquidation of cash advances, reimbursements of work/benefit expenses, etc.
b. Ensures the efficient allocation of work-related tools, technology, training resources for his/her sales organization. 6. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP  
a. Evaluates employees regularly to update profiles in terms of improvements gained and training needed to support proper assignment of employees and change in roles to maximize employee motivation and promote team productivity. b. Maintains the approved/current manpower complement by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and continuously training employees. 
c. Coaches, counsels and disciplines employees on a regular basis by planning, monitoring, and appraising their job results. 
d. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/trainings; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. 
e. Ensures that the warehouse teams are aligned with the same objectives and activities at all times. 
f. Motivates employees by ensuring that all Coordination Meetings are also used as venues for continuous learning of team members. g. Provides specific guidelines and directions to team members in relation to compliance, discipline, and human relations. 7. Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

 
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum Education Requirement Bachelor’s Degree Course.
2. Minimum Job-Related Experience At least a combined five (5) to eight (8) years of related work experience in warehousing and distribution in a leadership role.

e. Enforcement of Employee Discipline and Compliance
f. Capability for Employee Recruitment and Training 
g. Capability for Coaching and Mentoring
