Assistant Facility Engineer

Main Duties:

1. Assists in identifying bill of materials and bill of quantities requirements

2. Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.

3. Coordinates with the purchasing department to facilitate the materials requested

4. Prepares Excel workbooks, exercises and templates as necessitated

5. Does CAD measurements and drawings as required

6. Update and maintain Open Work Order Status report (Admin Service Desk)

7. Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time

requirements; sequencing project elements.

8. Participate in meetings and discussions in identifying potential value engineering and cost

saving items prior to implementation of the projects.

9. Ensure that all action items from the evaluation are properly executed and closed.

10. Plan and execute team events and off-sites

11. Create and submit expense reports

12. Assist in the execution of the required technical/engineering surveys necessary in the

pre-feasibility studies, design, construction and post construction of projects

• Bachelor's/College Degree, specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Electrical/Structural or equivalent.
• Preferably with license.
• Preferably at least one year experience working in a warehouse set-up and field work experience.
• Can adapt well and easily in a fast-paced working environment particularly in the Logistics industry.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills to interact with corporate executives at all levels
• Must exhibit strong time management and people management skills.
