Construction Engineering Aide III

Job Description

Provide support to the jobsite by providing technical guidance to craft and staff in order to fulfill the project requirements.
. Under general supervision of a construction engineer or a survey party chief, but with latitude for exercising independent judgment, performs various assignments of a construction engineering support nature, both technical and clerical
. Assist in several engineering disciplines, if required
. Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
. Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

. A combination of education and directly related experience equal to two (2) years some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
. Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
. Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications

. Good oral and written communication skills
. Typically has one (1) year of field construction experience
. Ability to speak/read multiple languages
. Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the basic use of spreadsheets
