Position Summary
Responsible to manager overall site execution on behalf of the Owner's team of a 150MW baseload coal-fired power plant in Cebu, Philippines, providing overall site leadership and management to the construction management and commissioning functions and meet the Owners scope, safety, schedule, cost, environmental and quality objectives, through responsibility and accountability. Previous experience on projects with the following is highly desirable;
- CFB Coal-Fired Power Plant projects in the Philippines;
- with significant experience in dealing with Chinese EPCs
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops project specific construction management work plans. Ensure work plans are coordinated with EPC Contractor and O&M representative(s)
- Performs Home Office pre-construction planning work prior to field mobilization
- Leads and manages the site construction management staff
- Leads safety culture and plans
- Monitors overall construction and progress, cost, quality, and scope
- Manages and mitigates construction work risk
- Reports variances and take action to address negative variances
- Reports construction progress and cost to Project Director
- Leads construction project performance review meetings
- Manages interfaces between/with various stakeholders which includes but not limited to Owner's Engineer, Lender Engineer, etc.
- Manages interfaces with the O&M representative(s) of the existing Units
- Addresses and resolves issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in construction management, particularly in power plant projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for project management.
