Construction Manager

Job Description

Our client is a subsidiary of one of the most prominent conglomerates in the Philippines and is focused on renewable energy. They have recently formed a JV to develop a large wind power project.

They are seeking to appoint a Construction Manager who will be responsible for the management and coordination of all site contractors to ensure project construction activities and the execution of work are performed and that quality, schedule, cost, safety, environmental, and owner's requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Record and track project milestones to ensure installs are completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain project schedules by coordinating between subcontractors and utility planners.
• Facilitate that all construction sites are following company safety and environmental protocols.
• Assist with review of tender submissions and method statements.
• Manage change order requests made by suppliers and minimize cost impacts.
• Evaluate operational and technical risks at each phase of construction and ensure adequate controls are established to mitigate those risks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Licensed Engineer
• A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in construction management, preferably on a renewable energy (wind or solar) project.
