Home-Based Controller

The DCX Controller  will work as a full-time DCX employee. The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of three accountants whose responsibilities span from general ledger work to maintenance of accounts receivable. 
• Responsible for the integrity of monthly results and preparation of all financial reporting for multiple entities of varying sizes. 
• Analyze various types of financial scenarios for proper decision making by management. 
• Present financial results to management monthly. 
• All aspects of invoice approval and payment. 
• Work with the asset management team on the timely submission and payment of construction draws. 
• Assist in the development and implementation of monthly and other processes related to monthly accounting and closing and financial reporting. 
• Interact with property management, outside lender, outside equity and banking contacts. 
• Oversight of accounting and property manager system (RealPage). 
• Oversee monthly and quarterly distributions to investors and update our investment management portal (Juniper Square) in a timely manner. 
• Track loan compliance with the asset management team. 
• Oversee annual franchise tax tracking and compliance. 

Additional Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, advanced degree preferred. 
• CPA preferred 
• Must have multi-entity experience. 
• Experience with Yardi, and/or Onesite/RealPage online system required. 
• Multifamily real estate accounting preferred. 
• Ability to develop good relationships with individuals and entities. 
• Must be a strategic thinker and a problem solver. 
• Must be a self-starter who takes initiative.

• Salary: PHP 120,000
