Right-of-Way Sr. Specialist

• Identify the road right of way of the project. 
• To define the road right of way traversing the affected lots, structure/improvements and trees of project.
• Research the available documents of each right of way affected.
• To locate/identify the owner and negotiate the acquisition of properties. 
• Facilitate land surveys such as subdivision, consolidation and its transfer of ownership.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Detailed Engineering Design and project implementation.
• Researches, reviews, analyzes, and maintains property records and right-of-way.
• Works closely with Legal Department and other management in furtherance of negotiating ROWs or other agreements necessary to accommodate the construction, operation.
• Works closely with Operations, Damage Prevention, and Engineering.
• Coordinates damage claims and settlements associated with construction, operation.
• Assist in preparation of cost estimates associated with ROW or other agreement acquisition.
• Assists with preparation and securing of all regulatory permits necessary for construction, operation.
• Manages, coordinates, and recommends resolution of encroachments, landowner complaints and inquiries, and access disputes.
• Serves as land management contact for acquiring property, securing agreements, and negotiating settlements.

Qualifications

• Licensed Geodetic Engineer and 5 years in practice.
• Knowledgeable of land rights, titles, legal descriptions, legal and engineering terminology.
