Senior Construction Manager

As a Senior Construction Manager/Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction operations at the project site. Your role involves ensuring that project timelines, budget adherence, and quality standards are met while managing contractors and working with various stakeholders to drive successful project completion.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular progress meetings to review project status, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Supervise and lead the on-site construction team, including subcontractors and laborers.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Oversee quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and materials.
• Manage project budgets and expenditures, tracking costs and ensuring adherence to financial targets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize project finances without compromising quality.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
• Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Anticipate potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Implement effective safety measures to protect the well-being of personnel and minimize accidents or incidents on-site.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in construction project management, with a focus on residential or commercial developments.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with proficiency in both written and spoken English and Filipino.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in Cebu.
• Willingness to travel to project sites within Cebu and occasionally to other locations as required.
