The Data Engineer is responsible for implementing methods to improve data reliability and quality. Combining raw information from different sources to create consistent and readable formats to be consumed by Data and Business analyst.

The Data Engineer develops and tests data patterns that enable data extraction and transformation to enable predictive or prescriptive data modeling.

• Designing, deploying, and managing data solutions in the cloud. Working with a variety of teams across the organization to help deliver on data strategy, architecture, and governance. 
• Developing and maintaining datasets. Construct datasets that are easy to analyze and support company requirements. 
• Build data systems and pipelines. Build and maintain required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources. 
• Improving data quality and efficiency. Implement processes and automation to improve data reliability and quality. 
• Analyzing raw data to find patterns and trends. 
• Conducting complex data analysis and reporting on results to interpret trends and patterns. 
• Creating algorithms and prototypes to conduct statistical analysis. 
• Build data solutions using a variety of data access technologies. 
• Managing and operating the data engineering services. Working with the product teams to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions. 
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years’ experience as a data engineer
• Technical experience with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
• Technical experience with Azure Data Factory, Dataflows and Data pipelines
• Technical experience in programming languages specifically SQL Query, KQL Query, DB Stored Procedures
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design
• Great numerical and analytical skills
• Desirable experience in Spark SQL API and Spark Python API
