Job Description - Team Leader - Onsite

This position leads eCommerce Technical Operations teams in the Philippines (Including Purchasing/ Graphic Designers (GD)/ Sales/ Digital & Product Marketing and other direct reports) to effectively plan and execute BAU, updates and improvements across multiple eCommerce purchasing, GD, digital & product marketing and other eCommerce focused roles.

Helps ensure that the team and workload is managed properly, meet all KPIs, provide guidance/coaching for the team members, coordinate with other functional groups within the company to address the team’s concerns and oversee the day-to-day operation of the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Management

Create an open team environment with an open communication culture
Motivate team members and assist in ensuring the team is engaged and operating in an optimal way
Effective team utilisation, and reporting when team capacity is being reached
Set clear team goals aligned with AU point of contact requests and allocation of tasks/issues to team members and their skillset
Ensuring team members are adhering to the processes set for the team
Assist team members with solutions, whether through training or guidance with AU counterparts
Listen to team member’s feedback and resolve any issues or concerns
Operational management and implementation business implementations including run sheet management or other business changes.
Continuous assistance in the assessment, refinement and roll out processes that make team's work easier and more efficient. Assist in the document processes for common or on-going tasks and in support of team’s training and ongoing reference.

Performance Management

Monitor team’s performance
Report on the team’s metrics
Coaching of team members

Adhoc Tasks

Perform adhoc tasks from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS

Language: English, Excellent verbal and written communication skills in fluent English
Computer Literate
University Graduate Bachelor’s Degree holder with preference in Business, Marketing Operations, Information Technology or Computer Science.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum 4 Years experienced in a similar B2C eCommerce role
Basic Knowledge of Magento 1 & 2 platform
Understanding of Marketplace platforms including eBay, Amazon
Experience in project management platforms, such as JIRA or Trello, a big plus
Strong attention to detail and organization skills with ability to appropriately self-prioritize work
Proven record in managing workflows and tasks not only for oneself but also for a team
Strong people management skills including the ability to identify talent and build on people’s strengths and expertise
Proven ability to quickly get up to speed with tools and processes
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office or G Workspace applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint or equivalents

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Good health, eyesight and hearing are required.
This position will require some work to be rendered on extended hours and in some cases, on graveyard shift for completion of a project or to meet with clients and project stakeholders;

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The duties and responsibilities of the position are essentially performed in a normal office environment remotely from home.

This position does not require the employee to perform duties that will necessitate climbing/crawling or handling of light construction equipment. However, if the situation calls for functions to be carried out in that environment, it is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that all safety factors are in place and safety procedures are being followed.
