About Our Client

Job Description

Lead:

• architectural & design meetings and tech breakdowns
• technical design and evolution of own services
• the development of code that is easy to maintain, scalable, effective, and error-free, aligning with business needs and team standards.
• conducting test cases, creating complex test scripts, and analyzing impact of code changes.
• troubleshooting and major incident support

Assist:

• the Squad Leads and Teams by providing mentorship, reviewing designs, and supporting engineers in building, testing, launching, and monitoring of production performance.
• engineers/squads by providing clear objectives to engineers/squads
• in analyzing and troubleshooting application issues
• in removing blockers

Collaborate with:

• customers and the development team to understand and define requirements.
• Chapter Leads, Principal Engineers, and other Tech Leads to enforce best practices, while actively identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.

Provide:

• regular reports about your squad's technical achievements, challenges, and solutions
• mentorship to team members, offering constructive feedback, engaging in pair programming and code reviews, and collaborating with Principal Engineers and Squad Leads to assess and identify areas for skill improvement and further learning.

Others:

• Participate in risk assessments, technical audits, project/issues/ideas discussions
• Support the whole SDLC

The Successful Applicant

• Extensive experience in Java 8/11 or above.
• Extensive leadership experience.
• Proficient in software architecture and design, resulting in producing secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.
• Knowledgeable in industry-standard practices and SDLC processes and methodologies (nice-to-have: agile methodology experience)
• Proficient in using metrics and data to aid in decision-making processes for architectural and technological advancements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
