Customer Service Representative 

About Us: VetShopGroup is Australias largest, oldest and
most awarded online retailer of pet health products. We have customers all over
the world (majority in Australia and USA/Canada).

Were a privately owned business, founded
by our head vet and CEO Dr Mark Perissinotto and his brother Steven in 1999.
Mark and Steven continue to be active in the day-to-day operation of the
business and our team (currently 20 people) is customer focused, motivated and
fun to work with. We treat our staff, our suppliers and our customers and their
pets as if they were our own family. 

Our flagship websites in Australia are
VetProductsDirect.com and VetShopAustralia.com.au and in North America are
CanadaVet.com and VetShopMax.com 

The Role: 

Customer Service Representatives in the
VetShopGroup assist our customers who phone in, message via live chat or email
us. Customer service includes: 


  • assisting customers and potential customers with general inquires (e.g. how much is shipping, does this product treat fleas, how long does an order take to arrive), 

  • taking orders over the phone

  • amending and canceling orders 

  • responding to after order questions (e.g. when will my order arrive, I wish to return a product). 

  • Helping check orders for suspected fraud 

  • escalating customer questions to our CS
    Supervisor, Dispatch Manager, Head Vet or Vet nurses as required and getting
    back to customers 

  • working with our Australian based
    customer service team, and our marketing
    and dispatch teams to ensure that the websites are working well, and we have
    happy and satisfied customers.

  • Subject to workloads and skills, when not
    assisting customers, our CSRs may also assist with other aspects of the online
    retail business eg. website content,
    blog posts and social media, uploading new products to our websites and turning
    products on and off etc.

  • This role is to service our customers in
    the USA and Canada and therefore work hours will reflect daytime hours in the
    US and thus require working PH nights, Monday to Friday.


Qualifications:

 CSRs have a very high standard of spoken
and written English and strong customer service skills and be comfortable using computer programs such as online shopping carts (e.g. Magento2), excel, help desk,
internet phone etc.

Previous experience in customer service for
an online retailer and familiarity with customer service by phone/email/chat preferred
as is experience dealing with customers in Australia and/or USA and Canada. 

No knowledge of the products we sell is
required as training will be provided but a love of pets is essential.
