The Data Engineering Center of Excellence has been established in the DPM team to help realize the vision of becoming a customer-centric organization, driven by a data and analytics capability that enhances customer interactions and revenue generation.

Position Summary Description...

The primary role of the Cloud Solution Designer is to define solutions in line with the DPM (Data Platform Data Management) architecture principles and guidelines to support business needs and growth. The Cloud Solution Designer guides delivery teams through solution implementation in the cloud providers services and its ecosystem by ensuring solutions quality and standards are upheld and adhere to the DPM delivery, architecture and design standards. The Delivery team follows Agile methodology and apply DPM's Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery framework and processes, besides providing a level of Operational support for the relevant DPM solutions. This role reports into the AD DPM Delivery and works closely with DPM Architects, Data Management professionals, Business Stakeholders, Operations team and vendor delivery partners. The incumbent must possess exceptional communication, influence, conflict resolution skills, backed up by strong business acumen.

A little about you...

• Bachelor's degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related similar course degree
• Experience in solution implementations in the cloud providers services in accordance to DPM architecture principles and guidelines
• With significant understanding and project experience on Data Platform Management and diverse technology understanding on cloud solutioning and integration processing.

What we seek to accomplish together...

• Have an end-to-end vision and see how a logical design will translate into process & data solutions through the layered architecture within the DPM landscape and Cloud providers application ecosystem.
• Ensure accurate effort estimation for Delivery work is provided to projects.
• Concurrently work across multiple DPM projects, providing direction to delivery teams regarding architecture, solution & design for initiatives.
• Manage 3rd party delivery team members on projects, in terms of solution adherence and artefact quality assurance etc.
• Maintain and contribute to continuously improving DPM's CI / CD and DevOps framework, processes, tools and overall IP / documentation, partnering closely with TMO, Ops and other relevant domain teams.
• Responsible in explaining the high-level solution to the stakeholders and how it maps to the requirements.
• Responsible to provide direction for investigations & impact analysis of enhancements as well as change requests
• Responsible to provide awareness of other in-flight projects that may impact the solution on hand and provide mitigation paths.
• Engagement of multiple parties, including customers (business), group IT peers and vendors, coordinating, facilitating and influencing the solution design & delivery approach to achieve the best value.
• Ensures that solutions align to DPM architecture principles and strategic technology roadmaps.
