Head for Test Management Unit Department

The Head for Test Management Unit Department is under the Information Technology Group of BDO Unibank, Inc. He/ She is responsible for providing strategic leadership, managing resources, ensuring high quality and timely delivery for all projects ensuring compliance of IT systems to testing methodologies, effectively managing escalations and incidents for maintaining the quality, reliability, and performance of IT testing services and fostering collaboration with other departments and orchestrating teams to align technology initiatives with overall business objectives.

Technical Competencies:

- Extensive experience in test management for actual test delivery, process, and automation.

- Proficiency in various testing processes, types, and approaches, including test automation frameworks

- Strong understanding and expertise in different software development methodologies

-Knowledgeable about DevOps tools and their integration with test automation, along with strong skills in MS Office, project management, and communication, stakeholder management and vendor management.

- Proven ability to apply end-to-end governance to testing methodologies, to engage, develop, and energize inter/cross-IT units to adhere to testing practices and influence people across projects and departments.

Years of relevant work experience:

- Atleast 15+ years of test management experience, including over 10 years specifically as a test manager

- Managed a testing organization with more than 20 resources for over 5 years, demonstrating leadership and people management skills

- Proven track record in managing Test Centers of Excellence (TCOE) or similar organizations, with tangible outcomes, including experience with offshore/onshore vendors, shared services, and large-scale, complex projects

Areas of work exposure/projects:

- Knowledge on financial services and industry products preferred

The candidate must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati or Ortigas.
